Shall I keep the embryos? I know I don't want any more kids

Just want to say I am in your same shoes and have posted here about the same thing. We are continuing to "pay rent" for another year before making a decision. I have gotten rid of baby stuff -- bassinet, Mamaroo, swing, swaddles, all of the clothing etc. so am closer to no, but not 100%. It's a little bit of insurance for now -- think of it that way!

I couldn’t agree more. Four cycles and not one normal embryo. Kicking myself eternally for waiting so long.

I actually have given away all the baby clothes and when I looked at pregnant women I had the "thank goodness it's not me" thought But I agree... I paid 30K for the IVF, why not pay $600 a year so I have an option down the road?

I think that’s a good idea. We were ”95% sure” that we were one and done, but I shelled out the money to keep the embryos just in case. Our son is 4.5 and we just decided to go for a second.

Another option you could consider is donating them at some point:

Interesting they will only accept adoptive parents who are a married couple of one genetic female and one genetic male

Not that interesting since this is what they say on their website:

"While the NEDC is open to couples of all race, religion, creed, and background, our own Christian faith is the overriding principle upon which we operate. As an organization guided by our religious faith and protected by the Constitution of the United States, the NEDC firmly believes in the sanctity of life beginning at conception and recognizes marriage as a sacred union between man and woman as defined by scriptures of the Holy Bible."

Any other federal laws they conveniently choose to ignore?
