| I'm 5'7" and love them. I think the key is to not get a fabric that is too heavy. I also have a pear shape with a very small waist comparatively, so a midi skirt with a defined waist and tucked in shirt works really well for me. |
Haha, well put. But that's a nice height for a woman! |

I’m 5’0, but here’s my body:
Great shoulders and chest, nice waist, arms are pretty good..... legs are stubby. They just look knobby and weird shaped no matter what. So I love longer skirts and dresses. I’ve heard that advice many times on talk shows: wear your skirt slightly above the knee—it’s the most flattering length. But for me, it really isn’t, I need to hide as much of my legs as possible. I look amazing in skinny pants, because it really smooths over my thick knees and weird calves. Longer skirts actually look really cute on me. In a pencil skirt, Just below the knee is about as short as I like, and it looks great with heels. Sorry for the jumble ^ my dh accidentally woke me up before work, my kids woke me up again, and I convinced them to leave me alone for now. I’m a little woozy. |
| I’m 5’8” and they don’t do me any favors. I don’t have great ankles and also have to wear flats. Like a PP said, with that length I think you need a little heel for shape. |
| They look terrible on me but I have seen them look great on others. |

I'm 5'6 and they are the only style dress I wear for work. I have long since abandoned the overdone maxi dress.
It used to be relatively difficult to find a midi. However, I have noticed availability more and more lately. |
I agree. I work with a very petite woman. She can't be more than 5'1. She wore a dress from J.Crew that I had considered purchasing. However, the dress swallowed her up so terribly that I changed my mind. She is tiny and the reason I am glad to have some height on me. |
| I am five feet tall and I love midi skirts. AMA |
| I’m 5’2” and like/wear them. |

I love them. I'm 5'5" size 4-6
Knee length is probably most flattering but midi is a nice change up and looks a million times better than maxi or mini on me. The midi dresses and skirts I have are a tad more formal |
| I’m 5’4” and size 0/2 with longer legs. I have a couple that don’t have a ton of volume and I wear them with heels and a tucked in shirt. While it isn’t the best looking thing I could wear, I feel very feminine (and comfortable) in them. |
