Where to order appliances from?

This is kind of my thinking, but I went there the other day, and the guy was pretty high pressure. He also quoted me a price that was $200 more than what other stores are charging. So, this makes me not trust them.

I've posted on this topic before but it has been a while. We used to use Bray and Scarff for our home and our rentals but stopped because we had some horrible experiences with delivery/installation, and then later with repairs. There was one time that it took 3 attempts for delivery because of mistakes on their end. I'm sure if you do a search you can find the thread. Anyway, we now use either Home Depot or Lowes. I think you would be fine with any of the others you listed (Best Buy, Home Depot or Sears) and you should stay away from B&S.

We are appliance shopping and found the best service at Apache in Aspen Hill. Small store and limited selection, but somehow he was able to beat the Best Buy price (and other prices we found online) by several hundred dollars. We went to Bray & Scarff and they printed out all the competition's prices, to show that their price beat them. But our guy at Apache was still the lowest.

ADU Chantilly VA. That's Applicance Discounters.

In my 2012 kitchen remodel I got an incredible deal from ADU Chantilly: they accepted/agreed to recieve my store demo gas Wolf Range from the Wolf discount store in Maryland (needed to complete discount purchase). From ADU itself I bought a top of the line brand new 3 shelf previously returned DW w 7 year warranty (owner objected to one item) that's given us NO problem. I bought a large Jenn Air Fridge 2 door refrigerator bottom freezer floor model and a Sharp Carousel MW. All for less than $8K. I hustled, they hustled, we got it done! All are working fantastically.

Hah, i was going to say anywhere BUT Bray and Scarff. Search this board and Google for reviews on how terrible they are.

I used ADU in Chantilly, but this is not a store for the masses. High end appliances, definitely not a big box store clientele.

We had a coupon for Lowes, and they price-matched on top of it.

I’ve always used bray and scarff and have no complaints. I’ve gotten decent pricing and never needed repairs (15 years, replaced all the appliances in the old house and half so far in our recent move). I will say, I live in between two stores and when I am shopping for a new appliance, I usually visit both and work with the most helpful salesperson.
