How giving is the University of Vermont with aid?

The all-in out-of-state tuition is $60k. That's absurd. My DC would need $35k in aide just to make it worthwhile.

Fabulous school - especially if you are awarded aid. I’m not sure we would have paid full freight (in any case) , but my DCs scholarship made it manageable for us and the extra cost worth every dime as they offered the perfect program and DC is so happy and doing well. Having had 2 kids apply - and one receive aid and one not - it seems they favor grades over scores and a good fit in terms of major and interest. Good luck.
