Teen Bathing Suits

I agree it's hard, especially if your teen is super thin.
LE was always our go to but most of their stuff is either babyish or too middle-aged mom.
I got her a cute bikini with mini-skirt bottom at Title IX that looks hip but has good coverage, but it was sort of expensive.

The target stuff was not at all modest, from what I could find -- all very low cut and high cut.

The counselors at my younger one's camp were wearing Nike ones, and those looked cute, so I'll try that.

I wish it was easier to find cute boy short bottoms, so they didn't have to worry about bikini line shaving as much. Such as pain for a 13 year old!

I remember Aerie having good options last year.

Target always seems to have good stock for like 3 days and then it’s odds and ends and I can’t find something that matches or comes in my size.

She might still fit into separates from Athleta Girl. My long-waisted 12yo is probably too curvy now, but last year she had good luck with one of their tankinis.

Jolyn Jackson 4, not a tankini but very in style with teens

Sorry to sort of hijack this, but is there a better option other than shaving for a 12-13 year old girl for bikini line hair? Do those hair remover creams work there? what brand?

Good that parents don't want skimpy.

Instead of shaving my DD wears surf board shorts over her swim bottoms. She likes the quick dry fabric and coverage

Has anyone had luck at Marshalls?

I just picked up some pretty good quality ones at Macy's on sale.

Yes- that is what we bought for my almost 13 year old. Last year we got a couple from Justice that were also cute.

Lordy, that’s not what’s at the beach right now. I see a bunch of thong wanna-bes everywhere on young teens. What is this style? Not quite thong but skimpier than “cheeky” styles.

Look for sporty ones. They tend to cover more, stay on better and still be stylish.
