Mine is about to start kindergarten and this has been on my mind a lot. I feel like they go from "aww cute just starting school" to DONE in the blink of an eye.

yeah, sometimes I think the timing for going to college is perfect. You're ready for them to get out of the house at the same time they're ready to leave. Win-win!

Awww. Good job! It's weird how it's everything you hope for that they grow strong and independent. Then the day comes and it's definitely bittersweet.
