To Playmobil or not to Playmobil?

One DC told me he didn't like how "the legs are stuck together". I can see his point. But that doesn't mean I wasn't hoping someone would ask for the Playmobil Pyramid for Christmas. (They didn't.)

This was our experience. Lego get a lot more playtime.

Same here, although my kids are only 4 and 6 so maybe that will change. I don't understand the big deal about playmobil - they seem to fall apart constantly.

I have girls ages 5 & 7... I prefer magnaformers. My 5 year-old pulls apart all the Playmobil sets and we can't keep track of where the little pieces land (tons of them!). My 7 year-old gets frustrated with big Lego sets. Both enjoy playing a bit with Lego and Playmobil, but they'll spend a lot of time creating structures with magnaformers which are so much easier to find/store.

So much more fun and so much less annoying then LEGO. Love them, we got lots of history sets, Egypt, Rome,etc..
but also school, circus. Such a fantastic imaginative sets.

My kids played with playmobil and legos equally and constantly. They didn’t play with them separately though. The characters and sets just all played together, so it’s not like I could pinpoint which one was more popular. I can’t fathom them playing with just one brand of toy or storing them as separate play sets. Their world creations got pretty big and elaborate so every toy was recruited in.
