How much do you spend on party favors?

I never do bags. i tie the book or puzzle with a ribbon. Or I did large bubbles one year.

OP here. Thanks all! Mine is coming up to $5 per bag. We have 10 kids and that’s $50! We are giving out a train ticket (cabin John) and that’s already $2.50. To really fill the bag, it’s going to be $7 per bag!

You don't need to "really" fill the bag. A train ticket + one other small item (including candy) is plenty. Kids don't need a ton of plastic junk.

I make cookies and give them out, so a few cents.

I spent $50 for 20 bags but weren't stocked, two lollipops, a goldfish cracker snackpack and 5 micky mouse stickers in a mickey mouse back.

My budget has always been $100 and I’ve sometimes gone over - I love putting them together, so am fine spending the money. Once the all-class parties ended, the “goody bag” (not always a bag filled with items) became much nicer (fewer kids, same budget). My child also receives one.

I don’t think I used filler items from Oriental Trading/Party City, but my son loved getting bags with toys like that.
