Wouldn't automatically assume that she's interested in a friends with benefits type of thing but more so an indicator that she'd prefer not to put all her eggs in one basket and may go out to dinner with Guy A on Friday night and then go to a play with Guy B on Saturday night and then have brunch with Guy C on Monday.

What? Are you a man or a woman and are you currently finding dates online? It doesn't sound like it.

OP, Bumble has a function where you can indicate you are looking for something "casual." However, I will tell you what someone told me when I was in yours shoes ... don't date right now, you need a thick skin to deal with what dating can entail and you are probably very vulnerable and would not attract a quality man. Once you are ready, however, there are PLENTY of guys to go on dates with. Ask me how I know

If you are fit and attractive, there are plenty of men to go on dates with in the DC area. Yes, I personally do know. When they realize that you are truthful when you say that you actually want a relationship, they bail out. I try to let them know that I have no problems having a complete relationship but I am not interested in a FWB.

Why are you going on a date if you do not want a relationship/to date men? It seem very misleading. I can see why they would bail.

If you want to make friends, including man-friends, there are lots of ways to do it, but people on dating apps are for people looking to date.

Well, if those "friends" have to be hot, you know your answer.
