| We bought ikea bunk beds for about $150. They’re great and sturdy enough to handle our boys climbing all over. I’d do that. |
+1 Best suggestion so far. We looked into bunk beds a few years back, and none of the ones I saw were even close to $1500. |

It’s this one we like. Prefer a stair feature rather than ladder. |

One word: Craigslist
We bought Stanley solid wood twin over full bunk beds for $500. |
| Why don’t you put the two boys in the twin beds? I don’t understand why you only put bunks or g/b in twins as the two options? |
| I am the only girl with three brothers ... you double up the boys. |
These are ugly, take up tons of space, and R&F furniture is crap. Just use twin beds. |
Hah. Girl speaks the truth. As a girl with only 2 brothers, this is also my solution. |
| Haha to the girls with many brothers! Interesting perspective. What would have been so unsavory about sharing with a boy? |
| I would Put older 2 in a room. They are young. Being boy girl doesn’t matter. |
Yes, it does. Kids get curious. Privacy matters. |
| Put the boys together. Buy a bed with room underneath for a trundle bed. A trundle bed would work well for the younger boy without the safety issues of a bunk bed.. |
| Buy a cheaper bunk bed. |
| Obviously the boys go together in the room with the twin beds. For all the advocates of bunk beds, there are lots of warnings on college threads about the dangers of bunk beds, elevated beds, etc. This doesn’t concern you? |
On college threads? Like college kids are getting drunk and falling out and dying? I don't think she'll have that issue with her 6YO. |
