Good Bfast place - Rockville, Kensington, SS area?

Mosaic is my favorite breakfast place in Rockville...they're right across from Congressional Plaza and have the lightest, most airy waffles I've ever encountered and lots of other good things too.

Black Market Bistrot in Garrett Park is quaint and the food is delicious. You didn't mention Bethesda, but I really like Le Pain Quotidien in Bethesda Row.

Try Mosaic (Congressional Plaza) which has a full breakfast menu, but specializes in homemade Belgian waffles which are excellent.

I second all of this. I wish there were more to choose from that weren't chains, but, that's life around Rockville. I also LOVE First Watch Cafe in Rockville Town Center (which I think is a chain, but is still very good). Yummy pancakes and a little offbeat entrees - and less expensive than Mosaic (though not as cheap as Silver Diner).

I love Le Pain's food - but its service is Le Pain in the a** especially with children. They are unbelievably slow.
