| At least I only see stuff from the school they’re attending and not their rejects. |
The bed thing is weird, but whoever wrote that blog is adorable. She almost even made it seem cute. |

What a stupid and wasteful thing - all of that slavetrade Chinese-made toxic crap.
Parents are stupid to support this. |
|
Is it a thing in the DC area?
|
| It's way over the top but if they want to do this, fine with me. I do think the food on the bed is especially weird... |

You guys realize that the student doesn't do this - her friends decorate the room as a surprise. Kind of like decorating a locker for a birthday.
It is still expensive and kind of dumb, and you wonder where it will go (i.e. do you then have to do this for everyone). But it is a little different than the kid herself showing off. |
After reading the article I realized that what it was describing was the friends of the newly admitted student gather the "goods" and "sneak" into to decorate as a surprise. A little weird and really excessive, but not as appalling as I first thought. It's like decorating someone's locker but way over the top! These girls will fit right in as sorority girls and can decorate the beds of girls with bids or their new little sisters... |
| This makes me not want to have kids. |
| I so would have done this for my daughter when she picked her school. |
| Oh, this is just a bunch of tacky girls. Glad to see no one from my community is doing such things. |
| If they are in bed, maybe they should be wearing Victoria Secret created college apparel. |
|
My daughters HS on decision day whole school wears school of where they got in.
On girl had a Harvard hat, Harvard tshirt, Harvard Sweatshirt and Harvard Pj pants on all at once. She looked like someone from a 1980s rap video Kids with shitty schools or no college were called out that day |
