Who reads the USA Today? Apparently it has a larger circulation than WSJ and NYT *combined*

In flyover country, nobody reads NY Times, can’t even find it for sale. WSJ is a niche, maybe finance and c-suite execs read it. Maybe. Both feel like a chore to read daily, especially if you don’t live near NYC.

USA Today is most commonly next to the local paper in gas stations and newsstands. Easy read for broad coverage. Neat. Efficient. And they tuck local stories in. It’s a smart business model, especially as so many local papers have been totally gutted.

They're probably including online as well. WSJ and NYT charge for content online. USA Today doesn't.

My father in law reads it. He lives in Iowa.
