I’ve never been in a hotel that didn’t have this paper. It’s most common followed by NY Times and WSJ.
In flyover country, nobody reads NY Times, can’t even find it for sale. WSJ is a niche, maybe finance and c-suite execs read it. Maybe. Both feel like a chore to read daily, especially if you don’t live near NYC. USA Today is most commonly next to the local paper in gas stations and newsstands. Easy read for broad coverage. Neat. Efficient. And they tuck local stories in. It’s a smart business model, especially as so many local papers have been totally gutted.
