Yikes! I don't bike, but I knew the recommendation for jogging strollers is 6 months, and I can't imagine it would be *less* for bike trailers.

You don't know that kid was 3 months old. Sometimes kids are small for their age. It used to irritate me no end, because people would ask me why my 2 month old wasn't able to sit up. He had a full head of hair at birth, and people sometimes thought he was much much older.

I was just going to say that my friend's kid is in the 5th percentile, always been. If you're that concerned, strike up a conversation... but don't assume.

My daughter was in the 2nd percentile. No one was going to mistake her at 10 months for a 3 month old.
