That 03 team has been together for a long time. They are very talented and tight knit. I doubt they are going anywhere, although the McLean 03 ECNL team does need shoring up.

Yes, but when you see them LOVING the high school game and doing their "dress the same" routine during school and enjoying the accolades of a winning record, they might be reluctant to give that up for the remaining 2 or 3 years of high school. Once you get a taste for it (esp if they end up winning the championships this spring) it will be hard for them to give up.

Would be nice if the DA would allow them to play HS.

It didn't mean anything to my DD, so that is probably more of an individual decision. She said it was such bad soccer, it wasn't any fun to play, accolades or no accolades.

I don't think this Arlington team is playing 'bad soccer'.

High school soccer is bad soccer.

2 out of 10 or 1 out of 10 teams play good soccer. A lot of blowouts / lopsided scores when that happens - the game is won 20 minutes into the first half

Not true. Yorktowns soccer is very pretty- they strive for possesion and play very few “send it” balls. You should go to a game and then come back and say all high school soccer is bad soccer. NOVA is different (for the most part).

I've been to several. It's either bad soccer for most or you have no competition worth playing for what's left. There may be 1-2 competitive games all season.

1. Yes.
2. We should all realize there is a problem if we have to hang all our high school soccer hats on Yorktown.

And just to give an example, have you seen Yorktown smash Wakefield? How useful is that?
