This is OP - and unfortunately for me I don't get paid to post on DCUM. Would that it were. Though then I'm sure I'd find some other way to procrastinate.

Just in the last year, I've had approx a gazillion people - in person and online - tell me about buying super cheap clothes on Amazon. I usually stick to known brands online but have gotten cheap-clothes-curious.

I'm also suspicious. The general sentiment is that it's cheap because it's from china, the sizing and fabrics are horrible, and probably someone in bad working conditions made it.

You are some oddly paranoid people.

There's a huge facebook group called "What Kristin Found" (200k + members). I mostly lurk. Of course it's commissioned links, but real people post pictures of themselves wearing the items and advising about fit. There's funny group photos of women all wearing the same popular item. There's hashtags if you are petite or tall and she'll let you know of lightning deals/price drops.
amazon's house brand, Lark & Ro, seems to be well liked.

I have this sweatshirt/tunic and I also see it absolutely everywhere. After about a year and a half of owning it, it is starting to pill and show signs of wear but the colors still look great. https://www.amazon.com/PINUPART-Womens-Knitted-Lightweight-Sweatshirt/dp/B01N8RIS8C/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=26TJ2T9I1QKMJ&keywords=striped%2Bsleeve%2Bshirt%2Bwomen&qid=1554486267&s=gateway&sprefix=striped%2Bslee&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1

I haven’t had much luck this fall/winter, but I found a few items on Amazon last summer

This was a great last minute buy for a cocktail party - surprisingly well constructed for being so inexpensive

I loved this one and I’ve never been one to pull off maxi dresses. It is ridiculously comfortable

Last one, loved this dress for a casual day out. I bought another in a different color and it was way too short and had to return.

That looks really cute! Too bad their XXL is for a size 12/14.

I don't understand your issue with the sizing?

My issue is that I am generally an XXL in most stores/brands but a 12/14 won't fit me. I'm more of an 18/20. Their XXL would be too small on me.

Yes, 12/14 is XL not XXL.
