Expectant and Postpartum Moms
Medicine is an inexact science. Did the patient move? Sneeze? Not hold her breath? For the number of procedures performed, Dr Stern has a great track record. He preformed two CVS's for me and I would recommend him highly.
I can't speak to PP's experience, of course. But I'm another one who had a fabulous experience with Dr. Stern. I will certainly go back to him for pregnancy #2. If I were the OP, I would take Metro and then a cab to see Dr. Stern. |
I second the recommendation for Greater Washington Maternal Fetal Medicine. Drs. Gallagher and Pinkert are fabulous and have seen us though both a healthy and an abnormal pregnancy. I think their Silver Spring office is Metro accessible.
I would like to second the recommendation for Dr. Larsen who is the chair at the OB/GYN Division at George Washington. I didn't do a CVS with him, but I have done first trimester screenings and amnio with Dr. Larsen for both my pregnancies. I think he is great and very professional. His staff is wonderful as well, especially the nurse in charge of doing the sonograms. Dr. Larsen was recommended to me by my OB. He is also rated a "top doc" in the Washingtonian magazine which compiles lists of top doctors in their specialties based on feedback from his peers.
Dr. Stern is great.
