I think the 2nd worst is the Covington kids reporting. Once again, because it caused division.
Lastly is the Smollett attack. While it was certainly bad, all reasonable people I know agree that reporting on it was horrible at first, but corrected later. And the media didn't try to sugar coat the truth.
The local media in Chicago did a fabulous job of reporting on the Smollett hoax.

Agree with this analysis.

And agree that the Smollett case was reported on well by local media.

Biggest fake news stories? So many to pick from.

How about when Trump lied about Mexico paying for the wall?
How about when Trump pushed a lie about Obama being born in Kenya?
How about Trump lying about unemployment numbers under Obama?
How about Trump lying about how he would wipe out the deficit (it's ballooned since he took office)
How about Trump lying about how he would come up with a great healthcare plan that would be cheap and cover everyone?
How about Trump lying about how Obama had moles in his campaign and surveillance devices in Trump Tower?
How about Trump lying about how big his election win was? Lost by 3 million in the popular vote, only squeaked in by the skin of his teeth with an electoral win because of Wisconsin (22,000 votes), Michigan (10,000 votes) and Pennsylvania (44,000 votes)
How about Trump lying about the size of his inauguration
How about Trump lying about bills that "fund illegals" and "fund ISIS"
How about Trump lying when he compares Dem policies to Venezuela
I could go on and on and on for days with all of the fake news that comes out of the Trump White House.

I agree on all points, especially the last one.

If only the national media did their job half as well as Chicago's, we'd be in a very different place today.

Trump is up to over 9,000 false or misleading claims made.

Nonstop parade of lies.

Yet the media gets 2 or 3 things wrong and you all lose your shit.

Spare us. We don't care. Your side is far more fake than anyone else out there.

+1.

As an Independent, I suspect most non-Dems are truly tired of this bs.

I'd like to hear more about the kid arrested in the Charlottesville school closings last week.

As an independent, I've already seen through the looking glass of right wing propaganda and am completely tired of the fake outrage, victimhood, braying, lack of introspection, and blatant lies emanating from the Republican side of the aisle.

Eddie Johnson, the Chicago Police Superintendent, deserves kudos for his work and the way he shared the truth, which I'm sure was painful to him on many levels. I admire him greatly.

Same here. He’s my hero.

Jury is still out on the third...

...and that's what makes fake news fake.

1. Collusion and piss dossier - both started and fueled by Hilly.
2. Covington boys - fake news media worst attack (as of today) and worst ''Vietnam vet'' ever.
2. Also 2 that wasn't mentioned here - a guy burned alive his five pets (two German Sheppards and three cats, all rescues) along with his own house, because he wasn't happy that parade didn't get enough attention. FIVE animals died a horrible death.
3. Stupid Jessie - even with Michele Obama rushing to save him, the truth came out very quickly - kudos to Chicago police standing it's ground.

PP, you've lost your mind and live in FOX *NEWS world.

Please get a life and read/watch something other than Breitbart and Fox.

Y'all should not be popping the champagne yet based on BARR's Report! Should not be confused with MUELLER's report!

One was completely fake, one was orchestrated by adult activists and misrepresented by the media, and the third appears to be, at best, partisan denial + wishful thinking, at worst, a fevered effort to overturn an "unthinkable" election result.
