And her story is paralleling Alba's story. Both get widowed relatively young... |
I loved that scene |

I am the OP...
I am so glad to find a following here! I love this show’s writing and characters. I agree I hope Jane and Raf end up together... but it’s hard to rationalize her leaving Michael. When the neurologist suggested he go back with her to find familiarity because ‘she is his wife,’ she was compelled by her duty. She is afterall dutiful! Annnnd I agree with a PP that I’m suspicious he is faking the amnesia. If he isn’t however, I say let Jason/Michael on his merry way and let Jane and Rafael have a happy life. |
That’s why they had to bring in Michaels mom, to deliver the line “your his wife”. NO ONE else would have told her that; she herself didn’t consider it. And Jane is dutiful and loyal, so she’s stuck. Very good writing. |
| Why would Michael fake the amnesia? |
| I love this show, but that episode was just so over the top to me. |
Just like a telenovela, no? |
Nice!!! |
I even heard the comment in Jaime Camil’s voice! Good job, PP. |
You have to accept it is a telenovela and not a, say, Parenthood. |
| Lol is there an episode that’s not over the top |
I know. All of the other things that were over the top were fine and I loved it. The dramatic monologue was just way over the top and cringeworthy. |
PP here and I thought so too. I thought it was just overacting though and not related to the story. |
| Omg now what! Just caught up on this week! |
| I don't think she ends up with Raph. Which I hate. But the narrator sort of mentioned it when they had the scene about moving in together and not waiting. The creators have said that they give you a lot of the plot in advance through one offs from the narrator |
