Not true based on what I could find. There were years in the 90's that it was over 60% admitted and now it's pretty consistent in the 20s or 30s. |

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: YOU CANNOT LOOK SOLELY AT ACCEPTANCE RATES TO DETERMINE HOW HARD IT IS TO GET INTO A PARTICULAR COLLEGE; IT IS NOT REALLY A VALID MEASURE OF HOW SELECTIVE THE INSTITUTION IS.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. |
Don’t be daft, it’s the best proxy available. |
It’s not though. |

St Mary’s.
Pretty sure they accept anyone that can breath and pay. |
Thanks |
Definitely not JMU. I grew up here and it's become much harder to get into. |
I'm not going to feel obligated to take shine from someone who disputes the actual numbers staring them in the face. That's nuts. If it's not the full picture, then post the full picture, or wear that condescending tone like a badge of ignorance. |
I’d say median test score of the non athlete is better. |
Oh really? Go find me a selective college where declining admit rates aren’t accompanied by increased test scores. |
| Common Application makes everyone's acceptance rates go down. |
