How do you keep your teen driver off the phone?

For now, she loses the phone and the car. In the meantime, teach her to drive a stickshift and when the time comes, buy her a stickshift.

Teens should know their ass could end up in jail or in the funeral home if they pull their phone out.

I've been using Life360 for 5 years, and this is the first I've heard of this feature! do tell! where on the app is it exactly.

You have to upgrade to premium or something like that to have it included in your plan. It shows me each trip, time and distance, and for each trip phone usage, number of hard brakings and rapid accelerations, and high speed.

I must have the basic version, because one definitely doesnt do any of that! And, I have a teen who will be getting her license this summer. 2 questions:
1 - how much is the monthly cost? and
2 - when you get those reports, do you review with your teen, what are consequences, etc.?

Trying to figure out if it is worth it/would I do it!

Well, this just happened on my street on Sunday. Police said it was due to "distracted driving."
Overturned Vehicle on Residential Street — The driver of a Subaru somehow flipped the vehicle on the 2100 block of N. Quantico Street, in the Highland Park-Overlee Knolls neighborhood, Sunday morning. Another vehicle was damaged in the crash, according to photos sent by a passerby. The driver was extricated by firefighters but uninjured. [Twitter]
