Wow, I’m sure this is so helpful to the OP! Thanks for your input!

You want a stuffed animal, not a human.

I too have found at 5 and 3 yes, they argue but they play together a lot better and are nicer friends with each other than before.

I hated pregnancy and the baby stage so much. Just terrible.

I was similar. I loved the baby stage, but the irrationality and the explosive tantrums of the toddler stage and early preschool stage drove me crazy. It became much better starting at age 4 and kept improving. Then I had a third, and to my great surprise -I am loving the explosive/irrational phase! Perhaps it's the perspective that it is just a stage, and also because it is so much clearer just how irrational they are at that age since I have older kids now.

Personally I'm dreading 11-15, babies and toddlers are my people. We all have different strengths. Its important to give yourself an outlet so you can be ok.

Same. Ages 2-4 were a breeze comparatively!

1.5 was my LEAST favorite age of all time. Maybe it's just that your younger one is in such a bad stage? My second is not quite there yet and I'm dreading re-living that phase. My first kid was a nightmare, I thought I would lose my mind.
