Ohh, that looks adjacent to a public pool! I bet Lee will figure out swim classes, or after-school swim clubs!

Lee administrators are definitely on this site.

Which family knew the email would come Feb 26?

This will be a nice option for Capitol Hill/Navy Yard families as well as those living EOTR. Lots of buses and the green line metro very close by!

What grades will this campus serve next year? Any preferences in the lottery for switchIng between campuses?

PK3 and PK4, I think 80 seats total? Maybe 88?

This looks like a great location to serve a whole new group of students. Lee should be commended for living up to their promise to locate in an underserved area.

I'm glad they located geographically spaced far enough from Nalle to hopefully not change their Montessori catchment area. Ok, so EOTR now has Montessori DCPS and Charters, and language DCPS and Charters. What's next?

A stronger middle school option, and increased safety and less trauma (obviously not solely a school issue) and more support for those students who have experienced it. Trauma is one of the biggest obstacles to academic achievement and these kids have seen more than our share.

Thurgood Marshall HS (a charter) with 345 students, lost two students to gun violence in one school year.
