You should have a good chance at Whittier. I believe they are adding a classroom now that one of their grades is moving to the new school.

Why not add Inspired Teaching and/or Creative Minds?

OP here - while I realize ITS get a lot of love on this board. I didn’t feel the same type of passion when I visited and would rather not list to give another family a better chance. Also not sold on Creative Minds either after hearing an experience a friend of mine had.

Yes, adding a second PK3-4 class.

Even without the added class, I think all inbounds students got into Whittier last year. It should be a safe bet.

Happy Whittier parent here. I would move Capital City way up on your list and move Center City, Truesdell, and Dorothy Height way down (after Whittier) as safeties. Since you are more likely to get into Whittier as your IB, you should be 100% positive you would prefer to go to either Truesdell or Dorothy before ranking them above. Good luck!

Which would folks rank higher between Haynes, Cap City, and Barnard?

How do you feel about extended year? For us that wasn't ideal and Cap City's EL program was ... so Cap. City on top.
