Yes, we live in the area and this was the only school outside of our IB where we got a spot (off the waitlist and in August). We go to our IB (Whittier).

For 19-20, West will be PK3-5, and 8th grade. That will be the last year with any middle school grades. Beginning this year, 6th graders fed to MacFarland and then Roosevelt. This will be the ongoing feeder pattern. Not sure exactly what you mean by IB and OOB, as the feeder pattern, once you are in the school, will be the same regardless of whether you are IB or OOB. Beginning 20-21, West will be PK3-5, then feed to MacFarland/Roosevelt. West will also be undergoing a full renovation starting this summer and will be in the swing space at Sharpe on 13th St (across from Roosevelt) for the next two years, returning to a brand new building in 22-23.
