Love The Good Place except...

I do think both Chidi and Eleanor had chemistry with Simone and I have a hunch that she is going to be one of the 4 new humans.

Oh I would love to see Simone back!

I think we haven’t seen good Eleanor Chidi chemistry because the show has to go-go-go for the interest of the audience, so they don’t have a chance to develop the relationship slowly like in other shows. The one flashback of Chidi and Eleanor snuggling after sex in the medium place, I saw the chemistry.

Btw I’m getting some hilarious autocorrects with Chidi!

I agree with this. We got more of their relationship in the 1st season with the teaching time but I got a good friends vibe. That could have grown slowly into a more romantic chemistry if they gave it time but there is so much else going on that I don't think it's had time to really gel.

Sean needs a webisode series.

Sean does? Or the actor who plays Sean?

What am I missing? I watched a few episodes and found it kind of trite and cutesy. Maybe I just don’t like Kristen Bell. I enjoyed her interview with Marc Maron, but don’t like her work.

OP here

This just about sums up what I was feeling about Eleanor and Chidi. Although seeing that little movie about all the times they fell in love started making me see a little spark. I hope Seadon 4 allows that spark to grow. But it will be hard because Simone and Chidi really have a great chemistry.

Did you watch it from the beginning? To me the first season needs to be binge-watched. It’s it really smart and witty, but also just dumb and fun. At times it suffers from all the things sitcoms suffer from, but in general it stays fresh.
