My K son wants to wear leggings

Sure they sell leggings for boys, to wear under shorts. https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/products/boys-tights-leggings-pants-Chc-202081-a8234a5f.jsp.

They also sell joggers and slim cut soft pants. https://www.gapfactory.com/browse/product.do?cid=1041822&pcid=1041816&vid=1&pid=372686011

And they sell leggings that are not "feminine." https://www.target.com/p/girls-cozy-fleece-leggings-cat-jack-153-153/-/A-53511931
https://www.primary.com/shop/kids/leggings?ref=nav_taxon_6
https://www.gapfactory.com/browse/product.do?cid=1041720&pcid=1041713&vid=1&pid=349905011

And they sell leggings that will seem very "girly" to just about anyone. Those you probably don't need help finding.

Hard to say which your son is asking for though, so just decide if you want him to browse in some stores with you, flip through some catalogs, or look at photos online of various styles so he can tell you what he likes, then you pick from options you find in his size that also match your preferences (retailer, price, fabric, etc.)

Hanna's leggings are on the looser side and come in neutral colors like navy and gray and black.

My DD has the target cozy fleece ones and they are a lot like my DS's fleece joggers. Good for cold weather.

Good idea to show him some options and see which he likes best.

He probably means those athletic long underwear type things. They sell them at TJ Maxx and target etc.

Well, I got ridiculed on relationship forum for my long post about patriarchy conditioning all aspects of life and being enforced by men and women alike. I guess women are conditioned not to be able to read a long text without paragraphs or realize that legs are legs. Notice that kids thought nobody is teasing the boy in school wearing leggings? However OP has already influenced her DS and supporting patriarchal values in our society. Oh, wait, was that too long without paragraphs?!

Ok, awesome that you have an axe to grind. Can you share any legging links so that this boy can wear something not supported by the patriarchy? Move your agenda forward a little bit?

Nope, I can't.

My 11 yo DS wears slim fitting athletic joggers every day. They look like leggings to DH and me but are definitely cut for boys. It’s what a lot of boys are wearing these days.

Tons of boys at DS’s 1st grade wear athletic leggings under athletic shorts. In fact, that’s become the uniform for most. Is that what your DS is talking about?

How's your back doing?

I work at an elementary school - lots of little boys are wearing sports leggings under shorts this year. I think it's a smart way around the "I want to wear shorts year round" mindset many kids have.

OP many of the middle school boys wear these to school. I don't know if they make them in smaller sizes?

My 2nd grade son wears leggings all the time! Jeez DC Urban Moms!!! Allow your child to express themselves as they want to. Period. Commentary like this is why our society is so backwards.
