Does anyone have experience with St Pius or Friends Community School?

My coworker just told me she plans on sending her daughter to Pius if accepted.

DH and I plan on touring St. Pius next week.

Excellence Christian School may be a good option for you in the Upper Marlboro area.

Do you have direct experience? I would love to her from a current parent. When I toured, just seemed dated and all over the place.

St. Pius is an excellent school. We've had a relative go through there. My son won't attend only because he has extremely curly "big" hair and we were told he'd be required to cut it down. That's a no go for us so we're looking elsewhere. Friends Community is a great school as well and Indian Creek is awesome.

+100 This is also why we are not looking into religious schools. I'm not ready to cut my sons hair. A little further out is Severn School. We loved it but I don't think I can stomach that commute everyday. Although, they do have a bus that comes to Upper Marlboro and Bowie. Same for Indian Creek.
