Friend zoned by his post?

Anonymous
His post was a bit cheesy; it reflects a bit of immaturity, perhaps, especially if his account is public and he has a lot of people following him.

There’s no way for us to know if he is friend-zoning you, or awkwardly flirting/letting you know he’s looking for a partner, or neither — just obliviously posting. There’s also no way for us to know if he’s seeing your posts and ignoring them, or somehow not seeing them, for whatever reason.

It’s not really possible to give you an accurate answer. But — he hasn’t asked you out, despite the fact that he’s looking for a partner.

even if he's just posting he's sitting there next to her 1. posting 2. posting about wanting someone. OP said he's not shy and if you're interested in someone you're going to pay attention to them, not be on social media.

He's not. A million bucks say he's an attention seeker though. His post was screaming for attention from other women.

+1 This guy sounds like a loser. Dumb post. You both sound immature. Get the f off social media and have a conversation.

Why do you say he sounds like a pu$$y?

He posts on social media while socializing and that post is something a teen girl would say. Definitly feminine and unattractive.

We're Indian and the couple got up and started doing a traditional Hindu dance.

So Indians can't be in the moment and instead have to grab their phones when someone is dancing?

I would not date an a Indian man then.

Stop being racist. Lots of different people are sadly addicted to their social media. Don’t generalize.

You should have asked him to dance.

Man in today's world, so much hinges on who likes what on social media. God forbid you accidentally like a post or pictures and now the person thinks you want to marry them.

Why does all of this have to be so complicated?

You need to give stronger indicators of your interest in him. Guys need that confirmation before we take the risk we are burdened with in making a move.

Were you also on social media while sitting next to him, or did you see the post later?

He made the post when he was sitting right next to me.

We were both recording the couple dancing at the same time. I posted the video as well, but he added the caption of hoping he could dance with someone. Then days later he posted a selfie in a suit with the caption, "I can't think of a caption, y'all make one".

The more you tell us about this guy the more he just seems like an attention seeker who isn’t shy.

He sounds like a dud.
