Processed food go-to's for the office?

I love those small frozen White Castle burgers. A pack of two heats in one minute.

I boil a bunch of eggs and bring 2 to work. There’s also those to-go tuna packets. Starbucks egg bites are good too, if you can leave the office for a quick bite.

I often find myself with long meetings that leave me no time to eat lunch, sometimes unexpectedly. I always keep a kind bar (the vanilla almond one with 4g sugar) and a piece of fruit with me. I can’t tell you how many times that has saved me - and allowed me to power through til dinner.
Sometimes the issue is that you do not have time to @run and grab something”

Pack for breakfast and lunch from home. Why do people spend money on putting garbage into their bodies? This week, I made extra bibimbap and brought that to work. It's healthy and balanced. Bring along a Fage or Siggis yogurt cups in your insulated lunch bag for breakfast. Don't listen to the awful suggestions on this thread especially the Jimmy Deans sausage breakfast poster- yuck!

GTFOH

Agree with PP. This is the diet and exercise forum, not food. The food police that keeps telling us just to eat crap should go away.

Wow, there’s no need to be mean. I’m not a processed food eater, but for someone who is just starting on the path to losing weight or eating healthier, one frozen breakfast sandwich at work might be helpful to them on busy days. It’s hearty and filling and you can track the calories easily. For those of who already eat healthy it may not be ideal, but baby steps are important—if that sandwich keeps op from eating a 1,000 calories of pad Thai for lunch, then it’s a step in the right direction. And yes I know calories are not everything, but you don’t know the OP’s journey. Have some patience.

Real Good brand frozen pizza and enchiladas - you need to bake them in the oven though. They don't turn out that great microwaved.

Atkins scrambled eggs w/bacon

Progresso Chicken cheese enchilada soup

Jimmy Dean Frittatas

Also - not a processed food but super easy - brown ground turkey and season with taco seasoning. Cut up green peppers, tomato, onion, avocado and a little cheese to use as toppings. Portion the seasoned meat out into containers to microwave for lunches and put toppings into baggies.

Yes, and you're probably an obese American with three calorie tracking apps on your phone but have no idea about proper nutrition.

Can you meal prep a few things at home on a Sunday?

Or look into meal delivery services? I am not in this area but I use a local service where I place my order by Friday and it gets delivered Sunday. They’ll put it in a cooler I leave on the porch if I’m not home. They have healthy, fresh meals you can order as a full meal (for instance rice, broccoli, and seasoned chicken) with the calories all laid out on their website, or you can order in bulk (I usually order sous vide steak, turkey meatballs, roasted potatoes, and chicken with everything bagel seasoning) and they have the serving size and nutrition info on their website for that. It’s a big fresher and healthier than frozen prepackaged meals but the same idea.

I am from a small town in PA so surely if we have something like this, you probably do in this metro area.

Just steal PP’s leftover homemade bibimbap from the workplace fridge.
