How many texts a day makes a man in "needy"?

So many variables here that there is no correct answer.

So one chat (but multiple text exchanges) every other day to so is Ok between 'friends', yes?

We're not dating because I'm not available, and even though she's being dating around for a while she's not in a relationship (other than FWB of which I'm not one) AFAIK. I don't think about where this leads I just know I like to text/chat with her.

Ok, if you are not available, then pay attention to your wife or girlfriend rather than her. Stop texting her. If you are not available but trying to string her along - that's annoying and if she is a good person it will make her disrespect you. Either break up with your current SO and ask her out, or leave her alone.

You know you need to break up with your SO if the only reason you aren't dating is b/c you are unavailable. You'll probably end up dating anyway.
