| I have those Keen's! They are awesome. I have other Keen shoes, Ecco, and Merrill slip ons. All great. |
|
flats / low to medium heel shoes for:
* comfy shoes for hanging out, quick errands: * comfy shoes for office when you might have to walk a mile to lunch or a meeting bike shoes, or sneakers for: * comfy shoes for playground (and not sitting on the bench, but playing with your kid(s)): * comfy shoes for commuting Flats for lots of walking (a few hours on your feet, at the mall, in Georgetown, at museums...want to look nice yet be able to go for hours). In the summer i try to find open sandals on platforms, that replace the flats for long walks, etc. In winter, i also wear boots (medium heel). The important thing for me is that the shoe is comfortable - the sole and the leather soft. |
| I wear .... Danskos! All the time! when I'm not wearing athletic shoes, that is. |
| Pumas!!! I'm addicted. Also have some old school Sauconys, one w a thick sole, one thin. I have an ankle problem so have to wear sneakers. Flats offer no support. I only wear non-sneakers when they are totally inappropriate ie when dressed up! The only problem is dresses/skirts with sneakers=fug. Oh well, I am nursing anyway... |
Hanging out/errands/commuting - ballet flats lots of walking - chuck taylors or doc martins' (they are making a come-back) Comfy shoes don't have to be expensive but I look in expensive stores (Bloomies, Neiman's, etc) at their comfy shoe selection and they are usually way better than clogs or other ucky shoes. |
| Dior and Prada flats, Diesel fashion sneakers, and fake Uggs. Saving for Ann Demeulemeester riding boots (710 euros) that I plan to buy during the January sales if any are left. |
| Puma/Keen etc fans: what kind of socks do you wear with those? |
| I love my Tod's pairs...So comfy and last forever. |
