I do find it fascinating that Joe is a complete murderous stalker and yet is likeable and you root for him. I had never seen Penn Badgley in anything but tbh assumed he was a piece of fluff - man was he good in this role.

Yeah, I was actually rooting for Joe too even though he's a psychopath, but for some reason, I sympathized with him. Beck is really annoying, she's okay but I just didn't get Joe's obsession with her. I liked Peach better.

Eww I guess I was the only one that didn’t like it. I still watched it all but it was really disturbing. The guy is a nut case.

I loved the show but I was not rooting for him at all! I thought the actor did great and that his character was really scary!

I just watched gossip girl will Penn Badgley, and I take back what I said about him being a brilliant actor. He's similarly creepy in Gossip Girl: same voice, mannerism and delivery---leading me to the conclusion that he s not acting; rather, he's just a creepy weirdo IRL...albeit a sexy one ;0)

I stopped after one episode. I found the voiceover narration annoying and the stalking premise disturbing and off the mark given the current me-too climate. Why do I want to spend time rooting for a stalker?
