My kids are sleeping 20-13 hours a night

Yep. On Saturday, I don’t think any of us got out of bed before noon.

Over break so far they have been going to bed around nine and sleeping anywhere from 10 to 13 hours… Mostly around 11 1/2 to 12 1/2. It’s been wonderful. Both my preteen and teen are waking up and in terrific moods and are just so well rested. They get so much less sleep during the school week, that this is a rare and magical time. Just had to say this out loud, because I didn’t want to pinch myself.

Total shit obviously say 10 to 13 hours.

Well aren't you lovely. Obviously, it was just a typo.

Obviously that was OP trying to correct her typo and making another typo.

OP here. Yes, I made another typo trying to correct the first one. Seems my kids are the only well rested in the house...

Sleep in rather than posting stuff on DCUM at 7 a.m. OP, it will do you some good!

Op here. Funny you said that. Today was the first day over break that I woke up before 8 (doc appt at 10). I’ve been loving sleeping in and sort of dreading going back to work next week.

My 13 yr old DS went to bed around 11pm last night and I just had to wake him up for an appointment. I thought it was safe to make a 1pm appointment but he better eat soon or he will be grumpy. I am glad he is sleeping a lot because he is tiny and he needs all of the sleep/growth he can get.
