| It is trashy and classless. If he doesn’t care that is just as much of a red flag as him wearing in the first place. |
OP, this PP has the best advice. Get one of his male friends to tell him he's got to stop being an idiot and limit the tight stuff only to actual workouts. Does he have any guy friends with whom you're comfortable enough you can ask them to do this and ask they not tell DH that you requested their help? Some men cannot hear things like this from a wife or GF but hear it if a male peer points it out. Sorry if that sounds sexist but it's true. In a perfect world he'd hear and heed you but for comments on personal appearance some people just won't listen to a spouse. If you feel you can't enlist a guy friend of his to help, would he get ride to your dad if dad said to him (when alone), we can see everything and it makes your MIL really uncomfortable--? |
| Sorry that should be, would he get RUDE to your dad.... |
A vote for your being an idiot, PP. All of you with the "he's gay" posts, are you projecting? |
| Gay. Not projecting. |
| Take him out to a bar and pay a couple guys to hit on and grope him. Either he’ll get the message that displaying the package is not a wise look, or you’ll find out that he’s gay. |
| If only the genders were reversed here I can only imagine the responses. “My wife’s tops show the exact shape of her breasts and everyone is looking and it makes me uncomfortable” the feminists would be completely up in arms |
This is why i think it's trolling. |
| Yeah my DH does this. Tight gym clothes. He feels all happy because he worked out. But we REALLY don’t need to see it |
Thats a dangerous scenario. If he roid raged on them it could be considered a hate crime. |
| My guess is that OP is actually the DH and has flipped the genders for the sake of the post. The person wearing the tight pants is the DW. |
No... genitals are different. And male genitals are different. I mean in terms of omhow our culture sees it. Showing male genitals remains much more taboo. And male genitals are more associated with aggression than for women. I agree, it would be different if this were a woman wearing right tops, but duh. Yeah. So what. |
False. Boobs are not genitalia. And they have been considered a display piece in fashion for hundreds of years. |
Agreed. |
Not true. The female version would be a woman sporting a fetching camel toe in all her too-tight pants. That is also not attractive and should be corrected. I'd try to make an appt with a stylist who can guide this faux pas. Otherwise I'd let him know that at first glance other people are assuming he was either gay/offering dick. |
