| 121, 90th percentile. Pretty much fits with what I expected. |
| Does anyone know why the nnat was administered earlier this year, instead of in the spring like past years? |
To get ahead of the preppers. |
| We still haven't received the results. Do they send it out to all at the same time? |
Some sent home in weekly folders, others mailed. |
| 95th percentile. I’m surprised based on previous WPPSI, which was 99th percentile,, but we’ll wait and see what other testing shows. |
I’m not sure why it’s so surprising, since they’re different tests measuring different things. My kid had a 140 WISC and 125 NNAT taken a couple months apart. I don’t think it’s that uncommon. |
I guess I don’t know enough about what the NNAT is measuring. I guess I just assumed DC would test higher based on FSIQ from previous testing. |
PP here, and my kid's NNAT, WISC Visual-Spatial Index, and CogAT nonverbal were all around 95-97th percentile. Both the WISC and CogAT cover a lot more than visual spatial skills, though, so if your kid is stronger in verbal, logical or other reasoning, the kid will be higher on WISC or CogAT than NNAT. |
That’s why I was surprised. DCs visual-spatial index was >99% |
| DC got 129 - 96%. Seems like a good score nationally but maybe still borderline for level IV services in Fairfax County so I'll keep my eye out on work products I can submit if I need to parent refer. |
| K parent here, NNAT is the 1st grade test, correct? All the FCPS documentation I've seen says it's given Feb/Mar of 1st grade year, it's now moved up to Fall of 1st grade year? And Cogat remains Fall of 2nd grade year? |
| What percentile does a child need to be in to qualify for the pool? |
Pool will likely be a 132 on the NNAT, which I believe is 99% |
Our AART said there was some testing conflict in the spring |
