How many hoodies does your teenage son own?

At least three, of different weights.

I probably own 5, myself.

16 year old boy, 8-10. Varies which one he wears. Always several scattered about the first floor, several on the floor of his room and closet, and several in the basement. And then the ones he leaves at criend's houses. And the ones belonging to friends he wears home.

6th grader.
He has 4; two are from a sports team he's on.
He's getting 2 more for Christmas. I'm tired of seeing the current ones. I wash each one about every 2 days because he'll wear one all day long.

like a teenage boy is focused on "being elegant"

zero - he's a 3/4 zip kind of kid.

2. It was 1 until recently, and he wore it every day, all day. I would have to negotiate to wash it. Finally ordered a second one, in a different color, so his teachers get the signal that he is wearing something clean.

My 15-year-old owns about 6, getting more for Christmas and he wears one every day.

Mine wears one every day to school. It's the uniform. They are not the most attractive thing, but all the boys at his school wear them.

6 hoodies. One is a sports team one that cost an arm and a leg. Wears a different one each day.

We recently culled everything from his closet that he does not love and wears for this season. He now only has clothes that he is wearing every day. 6 hoodies, 8 pants, 12 long sleeve t-shirts, 1 heavy weight parka, 2 sherpa fleece polar hoody jackets. Some basketball shorts and t-shirts to wear as pjs. Here's what is different from previous years - he did not want sweaters, fleece pullovers and jeans. He did not want PJs and robes. He has two button down shirts and two formal pants, that is for dressier occasions. That's it. He is pretty much wearing a uniform to school and that is what all his friends are wearing. He also wanted most of his stuff from Nike to support Colin Kaepernick and so there is that too.

Many. Though when he started HS he might have had one, we wasn't really into them then.

Fortunately, we bought two of that one, so he's usually clean, but I'm sure his teachers wonder what's up with us as a family that he always wears the same shirt (he wears it to school every day - it's possible that he takes it off, in which case he's wearing one of the two t-shirts he finds acceptable).

Almost all middle school boys just wear the same hoodie every single day.
