| Are there any other DOR success stories from SG - would be really encouraging to hear! |
| DOR - AMH was 0.15 when tested at age 42. I got pregnant via IUI at SG, my son turned 5 in early December. Hope is out there. |
| SGF recommended OCP's and when I questioned my RE he got an attitude which should have been a red flag. My cycle got cancelled and we switched to Dominion with much better results so far for round two. |
| you can look up success by age and diagnosis by clinic on the CDC website |
I am one of the PPs with success at Shady Grove from IUI. Interesting that both the CDC and SART data show significantly lower success rates for Dominion Fertility compared with Shady Grove. Perhaps clinics can manipulate the data, but it certainly suggests that you can't judge a fertility clinic from people's anecdotal experiences. Everyone's situation and experience is different. My sense is the REs at Shady Grove know what works for most people with a given diagnosis, but unfortunately it won't work for everyone, and then I wonder if they are just not flexible enough to find a solution for the more complicated cases. |
great!! how many IUIs did you do before pregnant? clomid or injectables? |
I got pregnant from my second IUI. Hybrid cycle with Femara and Gonal-F. First cycle was with Clomid, which did not work for me (thinned my lining and didn't increase my follicles) |
| At the time I was 36, DOR, AMH 0.3. First try we did BC but then the next 3 times no BC. Did Microdose Lupron (w/o BC) which was more successful as it gave us one good embryo for transfer but it did not take. We decided to take a break from IVF altogether after that... then 2 months later, got pregnant naturally. |
How many follicles? |
I think two mature follicles. But there might possibly have been a third that was mature enough or close to it. |
