h1n1 and a sinus infection are very different. I'm not sure if you meant you had both or not, sorry.

this is totally my opinion so no-one go crazy me on here, we all have a right to say how we feel. even if you have a well toddler, if you are sick she should be cared for by someone who is not just in case. and if your not running a fever of at least 102 and having breathing problems or other "serious" problems I wouldn't rush into anything. i've been sick once this year and so was my husband. don't know what we had but we just stayed home and drank orange juice and suffered. I had breathing difficulties but made it through and was better within 2 weeks. if you do have h1n1 it may not be serious enough to require antibiotics and if you dont and rush to a clinic with ppl who really may have it, then you could get it. try something over the counter for being "stuffy" or congested. either way, feeling like hell is just part of being sick. i hope you get better soon!

This is the OP. I did have a positive test for H1N1, and I would not have gotten better if I didn't get the secondary infections attended to, which definitely required a trip to the doctor for antibiotics.
