How do you know what kind of roads are in my commute? |
I don't. Someone already asked if I live in MD, and I said no. |
I don't know or care about your commute, but your comment about just going around is idiotic. That doesn't solve the problem of snow falling off your roof and endangering others. It's just pure laziness on your part. No big deal though. It doesn't snow much around here. Goodnight. |
Seems like the opposite. Good thing it's no big deal to you though. |

Another topic to file under "Things DCUM thinks it's ok to do even though they annoy or endanger others."
Leaving blinding exterior lights on all night Smoking in public Talking loudly on your phone Using a leaf blower Failing to clear snow off your car There's no end to the selfishness! |
What's wrong with leaf blowers? In use them weekend mornings and my neighbors still wave to me. |
The rude entitlement is positively sickening. I hope karma gets you with a big chunk of ice from someone else’s roof, to your own vehicle. |
| You can be ticketed for this, and if that ice or snow causes injury or death, you can be criminally charged. Oh, and you're an asshole. |
You're joking, right? I love my neighbors in most ways but every time they pull out their stinking loud leaf blowers I curse them mightily in my head. Then smile and wave when I see then again. So annoying! And we live in dc with modest sized yards that can be raked fairly quickly. Neighbor just likes loud toys. |
Amen. And for all you selfish Bs, think of all the lawyers on bicycles and Vespas around here (myself included). Yes, they ride them even when it snows. No, there's not always the possibility to go around. |
+1 Also, you can stand on the running board and sweep the top. Stop being so lazy. Same reason you drive that big behemoth - because you are too lazy to drive properly. When (not if) you hit someone, you want to be protected.....Except that big behemoth won't protect you from law suits. Chances are, if someone sees you with that mess on your car, they will take a photo - so that WHEN (not if) your snow hits them, they can easily make an insurance claim against you for negligence. |
+1 Plus, a person that sees fit to annoy others has not voice of their own. Hence, the "statement making" (ie: laughable) behaviors. |
| I always let the snow blow off my roof when I drive. It’s both efficient and fun. And getting hit by others’ snow is like a sport - you try to avoid it, but when you can’t, you turn the wipers up to remove it as quick as possible. C’mon now with getting out a ladder to clean it off. You have too much time on your hands. |
It turns to ice, you idiot - the results are neither "fun" nor "sport". Are you ten years old? If you are not mature enough to properly operate a vehicle, than you have no business driving. Your car is your responsibility. Act like an adult, stop being so LAZY, and clear it off. There is nothing "cute" about your behavior. You are a full blown idiot. |
Maybe you should’ve moved into a neighborbood with more land. You sound grumpy as hell! Or go rake their modest yards yourself. |
