Health and Medicine
| Can she go back to the doctors who originally made the connection between shots and regression, and get some clarification? Perhaps they were not talking about thimerisol at all, but the viral content of specific vaccines, or the effect of multiple simultaneous vaccines on a child with a weakened immune system, or a different inert ingredient. There are people out there with documented adverse reactions, but they are not to thimerisol. I have a DS who must use the flu-mist, because of an allergy to an ingredient in the flu shot. |

OP- DC has the novartis shot (and I think MOCO is getting it0 BUT it is only approved for kids over 4. So technically he could get it if he is 4 (I don't think your post had his age). However, DC seems to be reserving this shot for pregnant woman so the mom would probably need to speak to the head of the clinic to make the request (or try to talk to the Director of Health by phone to make pre-arrangemts). DC is being really great so far so I would be that if she made some type of pre arrangements she could get it if he is age eligible.
Other that the novartis shot (which has trace amounts), her best bet for mercury free is either waiting a few weeks for the true therm free one which is being manufactured or doing the mist (but if he has a compromised immune system the mist may not be good either). One other thing to research. Apparently one of the manufacturers of the vaccine has a manufacturing plant located in North Carolina. I have a friend who lives there and has said they have all kinds of vaccines in NC (no lines, no problem getting etc) and that they have the therm free one. Not sure if that is the case or not (she didn't get yet but said the talk there is much different than the talk here) But if you know anybody in NC you could check to see if they really do have the therm free version and see if you could order or something. Just another thing worth investigating (I can't vouch for the accuracy as I've not been toNC)! |
