Brittany Murphy and her husband. That was a very strange turn of events.

I was friends with Brittany for most of the last 20 years of her life & there are a lot of us (including her father & half siblings) who are still trying to find out what really happened. Still makes me cry just thinking about her — she truky was the sweetest person. And her talents were so underrated...

That was sad but I don't know anything about the husband.

He died only about 6 months after she did. He was also fairly young (40), his death was also sudden, similar causes of death, happened in the same room with the same person (Brittany’s mom, who lived with them) present, etc.

The news is that she had some flu / pneumonia symptoms and perhaps died from medication overdose, or just the viruses themselves.
But what was questionable?

And then her husband’s death - was that suspicious? Or was just the timing bizarre?

I am into this stuff (in case you can't tell) and wanted very much to like You Must Remember This but 1. if you have been reading this stuff for as long as I have Karina isn't telling you anything new, and 2) I cannot stand her voice! CAN'T STAND IT.

I probably have other recs if you have anything specific you're looking for....

She pronounces basic words incorrectly. It is weird.

What was questionable about her death was that they didn’t get her help in time:

Murphy's death was "accidental but preventable," Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter stated at the time. "She had been sick for at least two weeks. Had they taken her to a doctor or a hospital, it would have been treatable."

Is it supposed to be cute? I don't get it. Fingernails on chalkboard. Also, and I think I've said this here before, not every actress from Golden Hollywood spoke like a gangster's moll.
