Apple Watch?

Pro tip though -- you can get really nice after-market bands that don't break the bank. The prices Apple charges for the bands are ridiculous.

What after-market bands do you suggest? I have been looking for a feminine leather one, but all of the after-market ones I have found are so bulky. The apple modern buckle bands are nice and slim, but the price tag is hefty. I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Can bands be switched out easily? I swap my fitbit bands almost daily to dress up or dress down and match outfits.

I have an Apple Watch 2, so I've had it for a few years now. I am not a runner, so the cellular plan holds no appeal. The things I love:
I can charge it every night and not have to worry about changing a battery. On my other (regular) watches, I felt like I needed a battery changed every year or so.
I get my calendar notices and texts right on my wrist, which is more discreet than looking at my phone.
I like the fitness - I try to get a certain number of steps each day, so it's a great incentive. I am not a hard core exerciser.
I switch bands to match my outfits.
When driving, I have the steps sent to my watch so I get haptics in advance of each turn.
I can check the weather easily.

Cons:
If I forget to charge it at night, it may not last the entire next day. When I travel I need to bring another charger.
The face will likely get scratched, or you have to have some sort of face protection. I've tried lots and haven't loved any.
Most apps not made by Apple and integrated into the Watch are clunky/useless.

I have a variety of bands - I have some version of these:

I have an original Apple Watch. I got it for free (won a raffle). I was a huge fitbit user and didn't think I wanted/needed it. I continued to wear a fitbit with it. I went through three Fitbits in that time. They would break just after the 12 month warranty expired. When the last fitbit broke, I decided not to replace it. My Apple Watch does almost everything the fitbit did but more.

What I liked about my fitbit: my whole family uses one and we do daily/weekly challenges. No one else in my family has an Apple Watch so I do miss the friendly competition. I hated how the fitbits aren't durable, though. They aren't build to last. My Apple Watch, however, is now 3 years old and showing no signs of slowing down. I downloaded apps to replace the features I liked most about the fitbit (i.e., sleep tracking).
