Zappos shipping - is it me?

I always get mine in 2 days (or less!). Ordered Saturday, they were waiting for me on Monday when I got home from work.

So now for the same pair of shoes, Amazon is guaranteeing delivery on Saturday while Zappos says it can get here only on the 19th!!!! Like what??!!

I called zappos earlier today about an order I placed over the weekend that still hasn’t shipped yet. The CS rep explained they were experiencing delays and offered me a store credit on my next purchase. That was nice of them but not like them to provide no update in advance.

CS rep said it was issues with fulfillment in our area.

Sorry, OP. I have VIP, too, and have never had an issue getting things within 1-2 days. The one time there was a delay, they gave me a coupon.

I ordered a jacket for my daughter on Sunday, expecting it by yesterday/Tuesday. Zappos says it will be another week. Never happened before.

So this probably is related to the Amazon warehouse then. Something makes specific to the region.

It didn’t happen two and a half weeks ago. Only the past week and a half or so.
Also the same shoe on Amazon is shipping on time so only Zappos is affected.

Just tried to place an order for some boots for my Thanksgiving trip. Zappos “one-day shipping” option said the boots would arrive on 11/26. Yeaaaaaaaa that’s not one-day shopping. So I just bought them on a different site. They need to get their act together.

Yup, me too. Placed an order on Nov 8, got one day shipping and as of today it was still processing. Called customer service and they said something about a tornado. Basically they were not interested in saying anything helpful about why order wasn’t expected until Nov 20. I cancelled the order

Some sort of weather delay has been their excuse the last few times with me as well. Something is definitely going on, bad weather is always going to happen and has happened in the past.

Today is the first time in several weeks they have blamed it on the tornado. And they said it’s only affecting MD/DC/VA. Interestingly enough they said to change the shipping to 2-day (from 1-day) and the item will arrive earlier (but well past 2-days).
