Daycare issues - your thoughts please!

With respect to the bottle issue: In 3 months, you can switch her to cows milk (either entirely, or just at daycare). She can drink the cows milk from a sippy cup or a bottle. This problem should get much easier at that point. You can also feed her other types of dairy, like yogurt and cottage cheese.

With respect to eating solids generally: I think at this stage, it is still normal for the baby's interest to ebb and flow. Some days they are into it, and other days they are not. Things should start to normalize in the coming months.

Six months from now these most likely won't be problems. I would have concerns about my daycare provider if she wasn't able to take a long view and if she called me on a daily basis complaining about such things. If I had two other good options, I would seriously consider making a change.

I would worry more about the fussiness and complaints than the feeding. Lots of kids are picky at day care but generally eat and drink enough to stay healthy, as your baby seems to be so far. But if she is unhappy there, and it sounds like the providers are not happy with her, then it may just not be a good fit. I wish i knew how to tell what kind of place or proclvider would be better before enrolling/hiring, though.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts. I sincerely appreciate it. We've decided we are not going to be sending her there at all and find alternative options.
