In the clip from this article, it’s also not Haylee or Lilly. Claire and Mitchell are hugging, but then Cam tells Lily to go and console her cousins... and that makes me feel like it couldn’t be Dede, because Lily would equally need to be comforted.

I don’t think it’s Phil’s dad because of how Mitch and Claire embraced. I guess it’s someone closer to Claire? But who??

Mitch was crying too, and remember that if it were DeDe, Cam presumably would have already been consoling Mitch before they got there, whereas it might be the first time he’d seen Claire since it happened.

Do we actually know the death is going to happen in that episode? What if that scene is because Claire was just diagnosed with cancer or something?
