Modern Family Halloween Episode- we find out who dies

Months ago MF said a significant character dies. The only thing known for sure is that it’s not Claire, Mitchell, Cam or Phill. They were all in the previews. I think it’s Dede, who else would impact all 3 families significantly. The teaser focuses on Claire/Mitch, I think that’s just to worry people it’s Jay but I don’t think they’d kill off a permanent cast member.
