Independent Voice? Please.

And 'resist'ers vote against Trump 100% of the time, even when it hurts America.

Comstock is the better choice, and despite the ads suggesting otherwise, she is an independent voice who tries to represent all of us.

Oh this is some good stuff. You should get your own stand up routine going.

I get a chuckle every time the commercial comes on that calls her "Barbara Trumpstock."

I have to give credit to whoever came up with that idea, it’s clever and sticks in your head.

Very witty and accurate. You just cannot live down that name. Stuck with it forever.

You should vote for who you feel is the better person. If you depend on the Post or any newspaper to determine what candidate is best, then you are a fool..

Exactly.

Ah yes... you always tell a Trumpster because they lie, lie and lie some more. And you are a lying liar who lies.

First Comstock votes with Trump more often than: Paul Ryan, Marsha Blackburn, Mark Meadows, Gym Jordan, Marco Rubio, John Coryn, Chick Grassley and... Ted Cruz.

She has the same Trump rating as Trey Gowdy.

Worse, 538 ranks her as second to last out of all representatives and senators in terms of her voting record when the Trump margin of in her district (-10) was taken into account. She is literally 534/535 in terms if voting in line with her district.

Bye, bye Babs.

Second, most Democrats voted with Trump somewhere between 18% to 40%. Some from red Districts go higher (above 60% in some cases). A few from very blue districts are in the single digits. But most are 18-40. In this Congress, one Rep from CA is rated as voting with Trump 0% of the time, but it turns out he was only in office two weeks, and only voted once, against ACA repeal.

And no. Resisters do not vote against Trump 100% of the time. Far from it. No, she is not an independent voice who tries to represent all of us. She is 434th best in the House. And when the Senate comes into play, she us 534/535.

She literally, according to objective data, could not be less independent or do a worse job representing “all of us” in her district.

Besides that, you are spot on.

Well, duh. Of course WaPravda would oppose any Republican running for office since Trump came into office.

Except they endorsed Hogan.

It feels like Trumpkin Fact Checking is particularly weak on this thread.

I do my best! Not a Virginian though so light on the Comstock-Wexton details.

This is just stupid. Did she think nobody would notice?

A new ad for Jennifer Wexton, a top Democratic challenger to Virginia GOP Rep. Barbara Comstock, briefly features three police officers signing a poster promising “Change is Coming.”

But none of them are actual law enforcement. In fact, one of them is Matt Leslie, Wexton’s field director, who, according to his LinkedIn profile, has never been and is not currently police.

The uniform the officers are wearing do not match any of the 11 law enforcement agencies — sheriff’s offices and police departments — in Virginia’s 10th District, where Wexton, a state senator, is challenging Comstock in what is expected to be one of the most closely contested races this November.

You've posted that in two threads now. Apparently you didn't notice that this is old news.

Her vote for the new tax plan hurt a large number of her constituents. At the end of the day, people vote with their wallets. Same with voting to repeal ACA. I really don’t think she will win this time. She is no Frank Wolf.
