SO my sister dated and married a pastor of a medium..and then large... and then very large mega church. We are black and from Atlanta so she was what we call a "First Lady" which is a culture all in itself. She really was miserable despite liking/loving the actual CHURCH work. Thats a really small part of it though. The drama, the drama, the drama. And then she was really pressured to "leave silently" or stay because of what it would do to the "church." The "church" became this huge obligation that always had changing demands and lots of nay sayers. It was a huge big fat mess that brought our whole family to a very dark place and none of us see organized religion as a good thing anymore.
